I work for a major Telecommunications company, and we are looking to launch a Container Tracking Product / service.

Hence my contact.... do you think there is a need for it? And why do you think it has not been successfully adopted before?

Hello Brian,

I think that's great idea, and there's absolutely a need for container tracking service.

As I know, shipping lines have their own tracking system for their container fleet. Some websites like searates.com or track-trace.com offer enable visitor to track containers of many carriers. Some platforms like INTTRA also provide the same solution, but at advanced professional level.

Yet, i dont' know how successful those systems are. Hope that your company can provide system that's useful and beneficial to all shipping parties.
